About Gyna

In 2019, I lost my son Quincy to suicide, which sent me into an unimaginable state of grief. That suffering served as the impetus for change. I began to uncover my Purpose through faith, shadow work, and inner child healing.

This profound inner transformation gave rise to a spiritual calling: to assist others in overcoming their own suffering and purposefully finding wellness. This mission to support others in overcoming severe trauma, loss, or emotional wounds has become that Purpose. To provide what I wish I had, I founded Healing On Purpose with a purpose.

This is not just my path. We own it. And here, healing takes place purposefully and intentionally.

It happens on purpose.

What Is Grief?

Sorrow is only one aspect of grief. Love that has nowhere to go. It manifests in the stillness, the commotion, and the elements of ourselves that we tend to conceal.

 

Grief is viewed as sacred by Healing On Purpose. We respect its profundity while helping you find the fortitude to face it head-on, rather than sidestepping it.

Grief is the cost of deep love.

And from that love, healing begins.

What is Grief Coaching?

You are not broken, so grief coaching is not about making you better. It involves supporting you while you learn to commemorate your loved one, deal with loss, and identify the aspects of yourself that sadness has concealed. Grief coaching creates space for you to breathe, feel, and start over by providing you with helpful tools, faith-based guidance, and compassionate listening.

This is heart work. And it’s holy work.
